Linkedin Endorsement feature a success.

Social networking site Linkedin has said that it’s Endorsement function has been used one billion times since it was launched.

The feature, which was released six months ago, is used as an alternative to recommendations on the site Recommendations have to be written compared to endorsements, which can be selected with the click of a mouse.

The most popular endorsement is “strategic planning” topping over 50 million other endorsements being made every week.
