The Times Ireland ceased publication
A print version of the Times Ireland was launched in June 2017 after a digital-only launch in 2015. The last edition of The Times Ireland newspaper was published last Friday. Its owner is returning to selling the international edition of The Times in Ireland.

For the third consecutive year at the New York Radio Awards 2019, RTÉ was awarded Broadcaster of the Year.
Fran McNulty announced as RTÉ’s agriculture and consumer affairs correspondent
Fran will replace George Lee in the role. George will continue working for RTÉ’s news service.
Stephen Clements is leaving Q Radio
Breakfast presenter Stephen Clements has left Q Radio after eight years to join BBC Northern Ireland.
Alyson Henry has left Storyful
Alyson Henry is set to join the BBC Sesh team in Wales.
Brian O’Reilly has joined Extra.ie
The former Social Media Editor of Independent.ie has joined Extra.ie as Head of News.
Zainab Boladale presented her last edition of RTÉ news2day
Zainab had hosted the popular Irish children’s TV news programme for the last two years.
